CDC pack arrived

We got a nice surprise in the mail today – our CDC pack arrived from the Private Certifier.

Inside was a lot of documents with big red approved stamps including:

  • Engineer’s slab plan
  • Landscape plan
  • House plans
  • Stormwater plan
  • BASIX certificate
  • NatHERS Certificate

Quite a sizeable set of documents.

It was a long run up but quick sprint to the finish line.

Sandi and Andrew at Wisdom did a great job of getting the CDC done smoothly and with a minimum of hassles.

We have to pay something called a Long Service Levy – not sure what it is but bracing ourselves for more costs.

I must say I’m quite impressed with the efficiency of the CDC system for building approvals and it looks like a good way to keep the building sector moving for a rapidly growing Sydney.

  1. We provided the landscape plan so not sure if it is “required” by CDC. I would have thought BASIC and NATHERS should have been provided by Wisdom. Probably worth checking with your CSO!
